LFMI Apostolic Network

LFMI is a network of like-minded fellowships and ministries providing mutual support, encouragement and fellowship for the purpose of perfecting the body of Christ, for the work of their ministry. Ephesians 4:11-13, “ And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:"

These fellowships and ministries are governmentally independent and yet relationally interdependent.

  • Interdependence starts in the local fellowship and translocal ministries and grows out to encompass the entire body of Christ. 1Corinthians 12:14, “For the body is not one member, but many.
  • We believe each senior leader has been given chief responsibility for the overseeing of their respective fellowship or ministry yet the headship belongs to Christ. Each man is head of his own household and Christ is the head of each man. 1Corinthians 11:3, “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ;
  • This does not constitute independence but interdependence. Each member is accountable and responsible first to Christ then to each other and finally to the body as a whole. Eph 2:19-22, “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
  • The fellowship or ministry leader is not the power ruler or king of their fellowship or ministry but one of the five fold ministry gifts given to the the body of Christ for the perfecting of the body to do the work of the ministry. Eph. 4:11
  • They are servant leaders in their local fellowships and ministries first and then within the network. Mark 10:44, “And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
  • They are able to be transparent with the other leaders within the network with whom they have grown in relationship.  James 5:16, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed…
